Questions

How is GPA worked out?

For each course: grade points × credit hours. Add up all the points and divide by the total hours. Cumulative GPA is the same, with the earlier semesters' points and hours included.

Is the grade table the same as my university's?

The default is the one common in UAE universities (A = 4, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3…). Some universities differ slightly, so check your handbook. A 5-point scale is available too.

How do I count a course I retook?

Most universities replace the old grade with the new one. Take the course out of your previous GPA (or work it out without it) and enter it here with the new grade.

How is the school percentage worked out?

Your total marks ÷ the total maximum marks × 100. If your school weights subjects differently, enter each subject with its real maximum mark.
