    How to use it

    1. Type the project name, the grant or financing amount, and the contract value with the contractor.
    2. Tick each stage when it's done, and log every payment with date, amount and a photo of the receipt.
    3. Watch the gap between spent and budget, and print the report when the financing body needs it.

    Questions

    What are the usual stages?

Permits, drawings and the consultant; excavation and foundations; the concrete structure; blockwork and roof; electrical and plumbing; plastering; air conditioning; tiles and marble; doors and windows; painting and finishing; the boundary wall and yard; then connections (electricity, water, drainage) and the completion certificate. Edit the list to match your contract.

Where do the numbers come from?

All from you: the grant or loan from the financing body, the contract from the contractor. The tool calculates and tracks; it doesn't estimate building costs, which vary by emirate, area and specification.

    Are payments stored safely?

On your phone only (the app installs and works offline), with a backup you download as a file and keep. Receipt photos go with it.

What do I ask the contractor before signing?

Are the licence and classification valid? Is the price inclusive of materials with written specifications? Is the payment schedule tied to stages, not dates? Duration and delay penalty? Who bears material price increases? Warranty on structure and leaks? Is the consultant independent of the contractor? The full list is inside the tool.
