How do I export the chat?

Questions
Is the chat uploaded?
No. The file is read and counted inside your browser and never uploaded. Close the page and it's gone.
iPhone and Android?
Both: iPhone gives you a zip, Android a txt — either works, in Arabic or English WhatsApp.
Why do some messages have no words?
Photos, videos and deleted messages count as messages but have no words. Pick “Without media” when exporting to keep the file small.
