Prices are a guide. Shops use the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group daily rate, which may differ slightly.
How to use it
- The 24k price fills itself (edit it to the shop's rate).
- Pick the karat and enter the weight and making charge.
- If the shop gave you a total, enter it under “Is the price fair?” to see the making charge inside.
Questions
Why does it differ a little from the shop?
This is the world market price in AED. UAE shops follow the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group daily rate, usually close — edit the field if you have the shop's rate.
Is VAT on the whole price?
Jewellery carries 5% on the full price — gold and making — even at 24k. Investment bars and coins (99%+ purity) are zero-rated; pick them under “Type”.
What would I get if I sell?
Shops buy back at the gold value (weight × karat price) less a small deduction — making charges aren't returned. That's why we show the gold value alone.
