What's this part called?
A part broke and you don't know its name: from the car, from under the sink, from the electrics, from the AC, bolts and connectors. Photograph it and get: its name in Arabic and English (and in workshop speak), what it does, where it goes, the search terms to type on Amazon, Noon and parts shops, what to check before buying (size, thread, voltage), and a rough UAE price.
How to use it
- Photograph the part on a light background, with any number or label on it.
- Press «What is it?» — the name, function and search terms appear.
- Tap a search term and it opens on Amazon or Noon directly.
Questions
Does it know every part?
Common parts yes; rare or unmarked ones may get only their category («check valve»). If it can't, it asks for the other side, the label, or a coin next to it for scale.
Is the price right?
An estimate of the usual UAE price band for a similar part; original (OEM) parts cost much more than aftermarket. Use the «Prices» tool for the actual Amazon price.
Why does it ask about size?
Most parts have sizes and standards (M8, half inch, 16 A, BSP/NPT) and the wrong one won't fit. It tells you what to measure before buying.
Is the photo kept?
No; it goes to the model and the result comes back. 20 photos per device per day.
