QR and barcode reader
Scan any QR or barcode with your phone camera or from an image (a screenshot) and see what's inside before you open it — with a warning when a link looks suspicious.
Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser
How to use it
- Press Open camera and point it at the code — or add an image with a code.
- What's inside shows up.
- If it's a link, read the warnings before pressing Open.
- A Wi-Fi code? The network name and password show for copying.
Questions
Why check a link before opening it?
Fake QR codes get stuck over real ones in car parks and restaurants and lead to scam sites that ask for card details. Look at the domain itself first.
What counts as suspicious?
Shortened links hiding the destination, a numeric address instead of a site name, fake lookalike letters (xn--), no https, or rare domain endings. A warning isn't a verdict — check yourself.
Does the camera record anything?
No. Frames are read in your browser on the spot, never stored or sent.
