Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser

How to use it

  1. Pick whom you want to sponsor: wife and children, parents, or a family visit.
  2. Type your basic salary and whether housing is provided, the emirate, and the number of people.
  3. Read the result: eligibility, documents, estimated fees per person, and the official links to apply.

Questions

Is the AED 4,000 net or gross?

Official pages say «a salary of not less than AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation from the employer», proven by a salary certificate showing income and housing. The authority reads the employer's certificate, so make it match the contract.

Can I sponsor my 26-year-old son?

Sons can be sponsored up to 25; unmarried daughters with no age limit; people of determination with no limit. Beyond that, a son needs residency through work, study or another route.

Why is sponsoring parents in Dubai expensive?

Dubai's GDRFA requires a salary of at least AED 10,000, an attested tenancy contract fitting the household and 3 months of bank statements, and on approval a financial guarantee of AED 5,000 per application (not exceeding 15,000), reviewed case by case, with a one-year residency. Other emirates (ICP) publish no parent-specific condition, so ask the authority.

What are the exact fees?

Government fees are itemised (application, residency per year, smart service, status change, ID per year); we add them up from the authority's pages as an estimate, plus medical test, health insurance and typing-centre fees that vary by emirate. The final amount shows when you apply.
