Website archive
See what any website looked like years ago: every day a copy was saved in the Internet Archive, by year and month, and open any copy in one tap.
How to use it
- Type the site (like example.com).
- Press Search — the archive is slow with big sites, wait up to a minute.
- Pick the year, then the month.
- Tap any day to open the site as it was that day.
Questions
Where do the copies come from?
From the Wayback Machine of the Internet Archive (archive.org), which has saved copies of websites since 1996.
Why are there no copies of my site?
The archive doesn't save every site, and new or small sites may have none. Press Save a copy now to save today's.
What is it good for?
Checking a shop's real age before dealing with it, seeing old prices or deleted pages, or recovering your own old site's content.
Why is it slow sometimes?
The Internet Archive itself is slow with big sites. Results are kept for a day, so a second search for the same site is instant.
