Tools / Arabic text
The «Elyoxe for Arabic» browser extension
In Chrome and Edge on the computer: select any Arabic text on any site — an email, a document, a tweet — and right-click → «Elyoxe for Arabic» → add vowel marks, correct the spelling, parse it, find a synonym, or repair broken encoding; the text opens ready in the tool. Plus a toolbar button where you paste text directly. Free, no tracking, and it reads nothing from the page except the text you selected.
Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser
How to use it
- Download the extension file (zip) and unzip it into a folder.
- Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), turn on «Developer mode», press «Load unpacked» and pick the folder.
- Select text on any page → right-click → Elyoxe for Arabic. (Chrome Web Store listing coming.)
Questions
Why not in the Chrome Web Store?
A store listing needs a developer account and a review period; in progress. Until then the manual install works just as well in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera on the computer.
What permissions?
One: the right-click menu (contextMenus). No page reading, no cookies, no browsing history; the extension takes the text you selected and opens it in an Elyoxe tool in a new tab. The code is open inside the file.
On the phone?
Mobile browsers mostly don't support extensions; use the tools directly from elyoxe.com/tools or install the ones marked «app» to the home screen.
Can you add tools?
The current menu: tashkeel, spelling, parsing, synonyms, encoding repair, numbers in words, and PDF translation. Suggest what you need.
