Questions
When can a customer return without a warranty?
The regulation (Article 25): goods without a warranty are returned and refunded if a defect — visible or hidden — appears within 30 days of its appearance. On a defect the consumer chooses between refund, replacement and free repair (Article 27).
Can I write «no returns, no exchanges»?
It is void except in cases: a defect the consumer knew and accepted, recorded on the invoice; goods whose nature or packaging prevents return (unless a manufacturing defect); perishables; goods made to the consumer's specifications; and books, newspapers and magazines. The tool writes only the exceptions that apply to your goods.
How long may a repair take?
Under warranty: a written period, and if it exceeds 7 days the consumer gets a similar replacement free or an agreed compensation; repair and parts are guaranteed at least 15 days; after two repair attempts (3 for vehicles) or any attempt over 15 days: a new item or its value.
What must the invoice contain?
In Arabic (a second language allowed): supplier name, address and contact, date, description, quantity, condition if used, price in dirhams, warranty period, delivery date, serial number where applicable, commercial registration number, and tax number if any.
