Questions
How are Arabic sources written?
When the title is Arabic, the rules Arab universities teach apply: «و» for &, «وآخرون» for et al., «د.ت.» for no date, «ط.» for edition, «مج.»/«ع.» for volume and issue, and the title in bold instead of italics, which don't read well in Arabic. English sources keep English rules even in an Arabic paper.
Why are Arabic references listed first?
Most Arab universities ask for two lists — Arabic references first, then foreign ones — each in alphabetical order. Arabic sorting ignores a leading «ال».
Where does DOI/ISBN data come from?
DOIs from Crossref (the scholarly record) and ISBNs from Open Library. Check the result: author names or the publisher are sometimes missing.
Is my list saved?
Yes, in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded — only a DOI or ISBN lookup goes straight to Crossref or Open Library.
