Questions
Which regex engine?
Your browser's JavaScript engine (ECMAScript). Most syntax is the same in Python, Java and PHP, with small differences such as Python's (?P<name>).
How do I match Arabic letters?
Use the range [\u0600-\u06FF], or with the u flag \p{Script=Arabic}. Note that \w doesn't match Arabic in JavaScript.
What does each flag do?
g: all matches, not just the first. i: ignore case. m: ^ and $ per line. s: the dot matches newlines too. u: full Unicode.
Is my text uploaded?
No, all the testing happens in your browser.
