Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG

iPhone photos are saved as HEIC, and most government sites and portals reject them. Convert them to JPG — many at once — and shrink them if the portal has a size limit. Photos never leave your device.

Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser

How to use it

  1. Drop HEIC photos (or pick them on your phone).
  2. Pick JPG or PNG, and a maximum size if the portal has one.
  3. Press Convert.
  4. Download photos one by one or all in a zip.

Questions

Why are iPhone photos HEIC?

The iPhone saves photos as HEIC because it's smaller at the same quality, but many sites, portals and older Windows can't open it.

The portal says 500 KB max?

Type 500 in Maximum size and each photo is compressed until it's below it.

Can the iPhone shoot JPG to begin with?

Yes: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Conversion runs in your browser, and the location data in the photo is removed too.
