Image under a set size in KB
The portal says “photo must be under 100KB”? Drop the photo, pick the size, and get a JPG under the limit at the best quality that fits. You can set exact pixel dimensions too, if the site asks for a size.
Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser
How to use it
- Drop the photo (or several).
- Pick the limit: 50, 100 or 200 KB, or type your own. And the dimensions if required.
- Download. Each photo comes out under the limit at the best quality that fits.
Questions
How does it keep the quality?
It searches for the highest JPG quality that fits under the limit. Only if even the lowest acceptable quality is too big does it shrink the dimensions, a little at a time, so the photo isn't made smaller than it has to be.
The portal wants an exact size like 600×600?
Type the width and height. If your photo has a different shape, it's cropped from the centre to match, never stretched.
Why JPG?
Most portals ask for JPG, and it's the smallest format for photos. PNG doesn't compress to small sizes at the same quality.
Are my photos uploaded?
No, everything happens in your browser. And the output carries none of the original's location (GPS) data.
