Is the photo real?
A photo landed in a group and you can't tell if it's original or doctored? The tool reads its metadata (camera, software, date, location), runs error-level analysis that shows regions recompressed differently, and gives you reverse-search links to find its origin. Not a verdict — evidence to help you decide before you forward it.
Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser
Light = differs more from the rest. Edges and text are naturally light.

How to use it
- Drop the photo (the original file is best, not a screenshot).
- Read the evidence: camera and software, when it was taken, and whether it carries traces of editing or re-saving.
- Look at the error map: light regions that differ from the rest deserve suspicion. Then reverse-search it.
Questions
What is error-level analysis (ELA)?
We recompress the photo as JPEG and measure the pixel-by-pixel difference from the original. A photo saved once gives an even difference; a pasted or edited part shows lighter or darker than its surroundings. Sharp edges and text always show light, so don't judge by them.
Why is there no camera data?
WhatsApp, Instagram and most apps strip metadata on sending, and screenshots never had any. Missing data doesn't mean fake, but «Photoshop» in the software field means it passed through it.
How do I know it's old and reposted?
Reverse search: upload the photo to Google Lens, TinEye or Yandex and you get its earliest appearance online and the date. The strongest evidence against recycled «breaking» photos.
Can you detect AI images?
No tool detects them reliably, and we don't claim to. The strongest evidence remains: the first source, the metadata, odd details (fingers, text, reflections), and reverse search.
