Your file never leaves your device — everything runs in your browser

How to use it

  1. Add the video.
  2. Set the start and end (up to 30 seconds).
  3. Pick the width and frames per second.
  4. Press Make GIF, check it, and download.

Questions

Why is the GIF bigger than the video?

GIF is an old format that doesn't compress motion like MP4, so every second costs space. Shorten the clip, lower the width, or use fewer frames to make it smaller.

Does it have sound?

No. GIF never carries sound.

Which width should I pick?

480 for WhatsApp and social, 320 for small, and 640 when there's text that must stay readable.

Is my video uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
