Subtitle a video and burn them in
Add a video and we write out what's said, timed — in its language, or translated to Arabic or English — you edit it, then we burn it onto the video in film style: white with a black outline at the bottom. Or bring your own SRT.
How to use it
- Add the video (up to 10 minutes).
- Pick: as spoken, or translated to Arabic or English — or upload an SRT.
- Review and edit the lines — you see them on the playing video.
- Pick size and colour, press Burn and download the video.
Questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. Only the sound — compressed and small — goes to an AI model (Google's Gemini) to write out the speech, and it's deleted on our side within a day. The video and the burn stay in your browser. With an SRT nothing is uploaded.
Is the timing accurate?
Usually very close, but check it — you can edit each line's start and end and watch the result before burning.
Why 10 minutes?
So transcription finishes in under two minutes. For longer clips, trim with Compress video or use an SRT.
Does it work on phones?
Yes in Chrome and modern browsers. Burning takes a while on a phone — about as long as the clip.
